Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Sanitation Supervisor to lead our team for the British Masters at The Belfry in Sutton Coldfield, England. In this role, you will oversee a crew of toilet and sanitation operatives, ensuring cleanliness, tidiness, and the availability of stock and consumables across various locations on the event site. Your leadership skills and ability to adapt to different environments will be crucial in maintaining high standards throughout the duration of the event.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of toilet and sanitation operatives to ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards are consistently met.
• Conduct regular inspections of toilet facilities and sanitation units to identify any issues and address them promptly.
• Manage stock levels and coordinate replenishment efforts to ensure the availability of essential consumables throughout the event.
• Delegate tasks effectively and provide guidance and support to crew members as needed.
• Conduct training sessions to ensure all crew members are familiar with sanitation protocols and safety procedures.
• Collaborate with other event staff and departments to maintain a cohesive and efficient working environment.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and take appropriate measures to mitigate risks in the workplace.
• Serve as a point of contact for any sanitation-related concerns or inquiries from guests and staff members.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role, preferably in sanitation or cleaning operations.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to motivate and inspire team members to achieve their best performance.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work schedules.
• Proficiency in handling sanitation equipment and conducting routine maintenance checks.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices in sanitation management.
• Must have completed Full iKlean Supervisor Training or equivalent certification.
• Must be able to commute to the site at The Belfry in Sutton Coldfield, as accommodation is not provided.
